Officials are warning that flu season is starting early.They say a surge in the sickness has happened months ahead of schedule, and not in the usual spots.The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says flu season usually starts in Florida, but this year it’s been hitting the West Coast first, and two and a half months early.The CDC says about 1 in 40 doctor visits across the country last week were for flu symptoms.Click here to download our free news, weather and smart TV apps.
