One of the most distinctive buildings taking shape on Mills Avenue is getting closer to opening. Rew’s, a new cocktail bar at 1322 N. Mills Avenue, is targeting a fall debut after transforming the former Monogram Merchant building. The project sits next to the former home of The Black Sheep, the longtime needlepoint shop that recently announced its move to College Park. The new façade, designed with GDP Design Build, has already become a conversation starter thanks to its rows of circular openings.
